Maurice Figué
A Creative Journey in Layers
Born in San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina, Maurice Figué discovered his love for drawing at a young age, earning early recognition after winning a local art contest with a tiger illustration. His fascination with animals has remained a central inspiration throughout his creative path.
After beginning his studies in architecture in Mar del Plata, he shifted to graphic design, developing a strong visual foundation. A formative trip to Europe broadened his artistic perspective and eventually led him into the world of music. As a producer and musician, Maurice achieved notable success, including a Latin Grammy win and nomination in 2008.
As the music industry evolved, so did his artistic expression. He turned to photography, focusing on the highly technical and detailed world of fine jewelry and timepieces. Yet, painting never left him. What began as illustrations for his son reignited his passion for acrylic on canvas, leading to a growing body of vibrant, animal-inspired work that resonates with collectors and viewers alike.
Today, Maurice Figué’s paintings reflect decades of creative evolution across disciplines. His work invites connection, bringing color, emotion, and energy to every space it inhabits.

Angie Figué
A Colombian artist born in Cali, a city known for its vibrant culture and endless sun — both of which deeply influence her colorful, joyful work. Her artistic journey began during one of the most transformative moments of her life: pregnancy.
While preparing the nursery for her son Benjamín, Angie started painting small canvases to fill the room with warmth, love, and imagination. What began as a personal gesture quickly caught the attention of friends, who asked her to create art for their own children’s spaces. From those first brushstrokes, a true artistic calling was born.
Today, Angie’s paintings radiate the same energy that inspired her from the beginning — sunlight, color, and the innocence of childhood. Her style blends tenderness with bold expression, often featuring wide-eyed animals, playful forms, and dreamlike palettes that evoke wonder and connection.
She paints from her home studio in Miami, where she works side by side with her husband, artist Mauricio Figué, and occasionally with their little muse, Benjamín, who still brings laughter and inspiration into every creative process.
