Why I Paint: The Emotions and Stories Behind My Artwork

Behind every stroke of color and every shape on the canvas, there is a story. I am often asked, "Why do you paint?" The answer goes beyond a simple "because I like it." For me, painting is not just an activity; it's a deep-seated need to give shape to emotions, to tell stories that cannot be expressed with words.

It is my way of connecting with the world, of sharing a piece of my soul with every person who stops to look at my work.

Beyond the Canvas: The Need to Create

The urge to create is a powerful engine. Sometimes, ideas and feelings build up inside me: an explosion of joy, a sense of calm, or a moment of pure energy. It is in the studio, with a blank canvas, where those feelings find their release. I paint because it is my language, my way of processing the world around me and transforming it into something tangible and beautiful.

Each session is a journey; I don't know exactly where the brush will take me, but I trust that the result will be an honest expression of what I feel in that moment.

Every Color Holds an Emotion

For me, the meaning of colors is at the heart of my work. I don't choose a hue at random. A vibrant red can be the passion of a memory; a deep blue, the tranquility of a silent landscape; a gold, hope and light. The palette I use becomes a map of my emotions.

When you see one of my works, you don't just see a painting: you feel the energy that was imprinted on it. It is the reason why my art resonates with so many people.

The Story the Art Tells

Every piece I create has a narrative. Sometimes it's the story of a dream, a memory, or a song I can't stop listening to. In my "Energy in Motion" collection, for example, I wanted to capture the rhythm, fluidity, and movement of life. Through fluid forms and constantly changing colors, I sought to tell a story of dynamism and evolution.

My ultimate goal is that when you see one of my paintings, you feel that it is speaking to you. That you discover your own story in the brushstrokes and find a reflection of your own emotions in the work.
